Arena FPS with limb destruction

FPS Arena

A first-person arena shooter that runs in the browser. Hits remove the part they land on, so a fight leaves visible damage rather than a health bar going down.

Who it is for

People who want a quick arena match in a browser tab

What it does

  • Online multiplayer with lag compensation, so what you saw when you fired is what the server judges
  • Five maps, each with its own sightlines and cover
  • The part you hit disappears from the body
  • Agent abilities — smoke, flash and a deployable wall — plus a buy point mid-round
  • Radar with terrain, so a glance tells you where you are
  • Set a nickname and your score goes to an online board when a run ends. Scores mean different things per mode, so there are three separate boards
  • Runs in the browser with no install

Where it is going

The maps were rebuilt from scratch and the old ones dropped rather than kept around. Keeping a map nobody chooses only splits the player pool.

Most of the recent work has been the parts that only show up under real network conditions: teleporting remote players, voice pool exhaustion, draw-call spikes, and bugs that exist only in the exported build.
